Müze RadarThese Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Müze Radar mobile app (the "App"). By creating an account or signing in with Apple or Google, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Müze Radar is a free app that lets you discover museums and archaeological sites in Türkiye, record your visits, plan trips and share reviews and photos of museums.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your password secure.
- You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or use another person's account.
3. Community rules
Your reviews, ratings, photos and user name are visible to other users. Content you share must not:
- Contain profanity, insults, degrading language or harassment,
- Contain hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic,
- Contain sexual, explicit or violent content, threats or incitement to violence,
- Be spam, advertising or unrelated to the museum,
- Include other people's personal information, copyrighted works or content that infringes anyone's rights,
- Be misleading, fake or unlawful.
4. Reporting, blocking and moderation
- Report: Choose "Report" from the menu next to a review to flag it to us. The review you report is no longer shown to you.
- Block: Use "Block" in the same menu to hide all reviews from a user. You can manage blocked people under Settings > Blocked Users.
- Review: Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours. Content that breaks the rules is removed, and the user who posted it may lose the ability to post reviews or have their account closed.
- Automatic filter: Reviews and user names containing profanity or insults are blocked automatically before they are published.
- You can also report content by writing to dev@muzeradar.com.
5. Your content
You own the reviews and photos you share. By sharing them, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display them in the App and in promoting Müze Radar. You can delete your content at any time; it is also deleted when you delete your account. You are responsible for making sure your content complies with these Terms and the law.
6. Museum information
Opening hours, addresses and other museum information are compiled from public sources and may change without notice. We do not guarantee their accuracy; please confirm with the museum before your visit. Trip plan times are estimates.
7. Intellectual property
The App's design, software, name and logo belong to Müze Radar. Museum photos and descriptions belong to their respective owners. You may not copy or reverse engineer the App or use it to collect data by automated means.
8. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the App or from user content.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete My Account in the App. We may remove the ability to post reviews from, or close, accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Apple
If you downloaded the App from the App Store, these Terms are between you and Müze Radar only; Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. For matters not covered by these Terms, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and will announce significant changes in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
